Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly Boston ran an intergenerational art program for elderly residents of St. Botolph Apartments, a Boston Housing Authority property, with help from the British International School of Boston. We were thrilled to help make the program possible through a Massachusetts AARP Livable Communities Challenge grant.

AARP Massachusetts staff and volunteers work with Generations Incorporated in Boston, to decorate and create book folders, which are used by reading coaches to help Boston schoolchildren up to third grade improve their reading skills. Generations Incorporated is the local affiliate of AARP Experience Corps.

Dance the Dream, held across the nation on Aug. 28, 2013 and produced by The Dream@50, commemorates the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington and the iconic "I Have a Dream" speech by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. AARP Massachusetts participated in the Boston event.
